Depending on the build you are running for Jianxin, you’ll want to carefully plan which echoes and echo buffs you are going to use for her. If you are using the support build and have her using the Originite: Type IV gauntlets, you’ll want to use Rejuvenating Glow echoes to maximize the healing that the weapons can trigger. If these gauntlets aren’t an option, that is okay! Go ahead and swap Rejuvenating Glow echoes with Moonlit Clouds echoes so that when you have all 5 she can buff the attack of the next party member when she uses her Outro Skill .

There are quite a few really nice choices for Yinlin in terms of weapons. The only downside is that two of the four best choices are going to be 5-stars and will be harder to get. The Stringmaster is going to be her signature weapon that will increase attack damage by 12%, stacking up to 2 times, and will offer a very nice crit rate boost when leveled up. Yinlin’s second 5-star weapon will be the Cosmic Ripples. This weapon will increase energy regen by 12% and will increase basic attack damage by 3%, stacking up to 5 times and lasting for 8 seconds.

As for the third team member, you can choose between a few characters as there is no wrong choice here. The recommendation would be to pick a healer like Verina or Baizhi to keep the team up in case they take any damage. Taking a shielding character like Taoqi or Jianxin is also a nice bet as well to mitigate damage to the team as well. Ultimately, it's best to play around and find out what feels best for you in the third team member slot. What matters most here is the synergy you can make work in that last slot, since the other two are going to be doing massive amounts of damage if you go with Rover or Calcharo.


Sanhua can have up to two stacks of Clarity at once, and Clarity stacks are gained by performing Basic Attack 5 , casting her Intro Skill , or her Resonance Skill . As for which echoes to equip as Jianxin’s main echo, you’ll want her main one to cost 4 and have 2 that cost 3 and then another 2 that will only cost 1 to get the overall slots to equal 12 to get the most out of all the echoes. If you are using the support build with Rejuvenating Glow, you’ll want her main echo to be Bell-Borne Geochelone. This echo will deal Ice Damage based on Jianxin’s defense to nearby enemies and obtain a Bell-Borne Shield that lasts for 15 seconds. The Bell-Borne Shield provides a damage reduction and a damage boost for the current team members. It will disappear after Jianxin is hit 3 times .

If you’d like to lean into hybrid buffs though, you can always use 2 Sierra Gale echoes with 2 Lingering Tunes echoes to give a 10% Aero Damage boost along with increasing Attack by 10% . You can also swap Lingering Tunes out with 2 Moonlit Clouds echoes to gain 10% more energy regen. All of these are viable, so what you choose here might just come down to what might complement the team you are choosing to use.

Wuthering Waves has several different types of currency, though its primary one is Astrites . Astrites can be exchanged for a variety of things, including the different tides you need to participate in each Convene banner. Every time you make a pull on the Convenes, you also gain a secondary currency: the Oscilated Coral and the Aftershock Coral. Oscilated Coral are, generally, earned at a much higher rate than the Aftershock floral.

Of course, as is usual with live-service games, you have some daily tasks that you can do, which will generally help to pad out the playtime a little bit. However, you do need to get further into the story before you gain access to your daily tasks. Even after you’ve gotten through what bit of the main story is available, the daily tasks will still provide you with a fairly decent reason to log on and play around a little bit every day.

First off, before you get started, it will be best to know what exactly Yinlin will excel at when on the field fighting enemies.
