Speaking of more trolls, Stormhill is a lovely area full of those walking behemoths. One area, specifically south of Warmaster's Shack, has five of these trolls standing near a cliff . They're also evenly spaced out so players don't need to fight multiple trolls all at the same time — though doing that is faster but risk

While wielding any of General Radahn's three associated weapons you will be able to replicate other attacks from his Caelid boss fight and the encounter at the end of Shadow of the Erdtree . His normal Starscourge Greatsword uses Gravity magic, while the Promised Consort weapons both implement Holy damage.

Radahn was a beefy guy, so having a high Vigor reflects this large Health pool. A 23 in Endurance means you will be able to equip the majority of General Radahn's armor, though you may need to use the Radagon Soreseal or the Great-Jar Arsenal Talisman to push your Equip Load high enough to avoid fat rolling. A 50 in Strength takes advantage of the Starscourge Greatsword's scaling, while a 21 in Intelligence allows use of the Meteorite Staff and the Rock Sling spell, both tied to Gravitational Sorceries. The above is calculated for a Level 100 player who started as a Wretch.

For any of you who have already reached the Mountaintops but missed a step in Yura's questline, don't worry, Eleonora will still always invade the first time you go to the Second Church of Marika, and Yura's Nagakiba can be found sitting wherever you last spoke with Yura as well, be that Murkwater Cave or one of his other locations.

Updated on August 5, 2024, by Mehrdad Khayyat: Farming Runes is still an important part of the gameplay loop in Elden Ring Nightreign Expansion Ring, and primarily the only easy hack to level up the character skills before venturing forth to the difficult regions of the g

The Moonveil Katana scales primarily with Dexterity and Intelligence and rewards a playstyle that mixes close-quarters swordplay with midrange spellcasting. The Ash of War that comes with Mooveil is Transient Moonlight, which lets players launch a powerful (and cheap) magic arc that scales with the weapon's upgrade level . Equipping Moonveil requires at least 18 Dexterity, 12 Strength, and 23 Intelligence, which isn't a lot considering the high-tier scaling and skill that comes with it.

Once everything is ready, it’s time to go out and fight. What to use will come down to personal preference, but there are a couple of important things to keep in mind. The primary means of dealing damage with these weapons is their weapon arts, so one is going to spend the majority of their time in combat exposed. So, use careful timing when launching an art since it can be interrupted during the wind-up by most enemies and also mid-attack by enemies possessing a high stagger threshold. If one needs to go on the defensive, switch to the spear and hide behind a medium-size shield, if possible.

Upon killing him, Yura will drop the Nagakiba Katana, a few Runes, and nothing else, so those drooling for his Ronin Armor Set set might want to wait at least a little bit before killing him. To be more precise, if you progress Yura's Questline until you find him at the Zamor Ruins Site of Grace and then kill him, you can get his Armor Set here and find the Nagakiba sitting in his previous location north of Murkwater Cave.
Pair Moonveil with another Int-based katana like the Meteorite Blade to take advantage of shared scaling, or use classics like Rivers of Blood or the Hand of Malenia to complement Moonveil's buildup of Bleed.

General Radahn's armor is only unlockable after defeating the Starscourge, and his greatsword and bow can only be unlocked by trading in his Remembrance with Enia. To purchase the full Radahn armor set, speak with Enia after the battle to find each piece (head, chest, legs, hands) for sale. They are very heavy but very protective, so be sure you have points in Endurance to be able to dodge roll.

Again, this isn’t exactly a necessity for this build, but certain tears can help compliment the overall strategy. The first is the Spiked Cracked Tear , which further enhances consecutive attacks while the physic is active. The other is the Cerulean Hidden Tear ; this one eliminates all FP consumption while active, so players can use it at the beginning of the battle and summon Black Knife Tiche Ashes for free. One could also probably get a few hits too, before it wears off. These won’t necessarily be the go-to choices for every fight, but they do at least consistently offer more attack power and allow for a summon that may or may not be impossible otherwise, depending on how many points one has in the Mind stat.

For those of you who can resist instant gratification and want to reap more rewards later on, talking to Yura instead of killing him when you encounter him north of Murkwater is the better deal overall. Finishing his questline will not only reward the Nagakiba but will also lead to unlocking other weapons and items such as:
