The Grays originated as British Loyalists in Scotland, who snitched on Jacobite supporters during the 1745 uprising. The family eventually uprooted and moved to North America a year later. Their lives were under threat after Jacobites began hunting down and taking revenge on British informants, so when they eventually made their home in Scarlett Meadows in 1957 the family lied about their past and made it appear as though they had been pro-Jacobite during the conflict. The Grays eventually found financial success in the slave trade by mass-producing cotton and toba

As cliche as "New Year, New Me" might be, I reprioritized my life. This time was different than any of my attempts prior, though, as every change I was making was in the interest of my son, instead of myself. "How can I be better for him?" "How can I make sure Declan grows up to be the person I truly believe he’s going to be - which is someone who is going to speak for those without a voice and change this Open world Game exploration guide for the better?" These were the questions at the forefront of my m

Most people understand the ties between Arthur and John Marston, or either of them and Dutch Van Der Linde. The connection that's not often talked about is the one between Sadie Adler and Micah. At the beginning of the game, he's the one who points out Sadie's home as a point of interest. This cascades into the series of events that follow, but it ties him to her from the start. That's why it's so fulfilling when she's there with John when they take out Micah and make him draw his final breath in the snow-covered mounta

Players will need to kill three birds of prey with tomahawks to complete this challenge. This is one of the more difficult challenges to beat considering that it is near impossible to hit birds out of the air with throwing weapons even with dead-eye. Players will either need to wait for birds to try and scavenge the bodies of fallen enemies or ride around until they see a bird perched near rivers or on fences. Stationary birds are easy to pick off with dead-eye if players are quick and sil

Micah is just one of many performances in the game that are brilliantly acted by the cast. Peter Blomquist plays Micah and does a phenomenal job. He's not new to Rockstar Games as he also played Dr. Harlan Fontaine in 2011's L.A. Noire . As we'll get into later, it's hard to get an audience to truly hate a character. Video games as a medium are slowly reaching a point where the voice actors are getting the recognition they deserve, and that's likely due to storytelling in video games increasing in quality almost exponentia

I can’t quite shake that near-daily nagging negative voice in my head about being like my father. I’ve made mistakes, and I know that I’m going to screw up again. Probably a lot. But, I will learn from every mistake and apply it towards being a better person and father for my son. Declan will absolutely always know that he is adored and loved by his father. His Gamer

At this point, it’s pretty unlikely that my love or involvement within the realm of video games fade away. I just have to navigate them in a different way now. It will be interesting to see if Declan shares in my video game passion as he gets older. If not, of course, no big deal. Hopefully, he is at least far more studious than his old man (and less inclined to play games before getting his schoolwork do

As RDR2 fans know, this caused a tragically inverted Romeo and Juliet-esque situation, one in which the two lovers survived but the same can’t be said for their families. Players are first introduced to the Braithwaite family when Beau Gray asks Arthur Morgan to deliver a note to his lover, Penelope Braithwaite, who conveniently lives at the Braithwaite manor. Beau expresses concern over his love interest, as she plans to participate in a protest for women’s suffrage (which later leads to Arthur driving the stagecoa

The trio runs into a bit of trouble at the train station when Beau’s cousins attempt to stop them, though Arthur is able to save the day. They finally stop at Riggs station, and Penelope and Beau opt to take a stagecoach to Boston It’s presumed the pair get married as they had planned, and finally bring an end to the Braithwaite-Gray feud. Considering most of the Braithwaite and Gray members had already been wiped out by the Van der Linde gang at that point, it seems like the feud was already over... but at least Romeo and Juliet got a (somewhat) happy end

I’ve also held more personal titles, such as Son and Husband. While I’ve had my moments of triumphs in those roles, I’ve also faltered mightily, which was far worse than failing in any of my other titles. As such, the role of Gamer is the title that has withstood the test of time. It’s also really the only thing I’ve consistently excelled at with each passing year of my l

As serendipity would have it, though, about 40-minutes into the "conversation," the restaurant’s power went out completely, allowing the meeting to end before I threw the lemonade that I was nursing in the face of the loser sitting across the table from me. We left without a hug, a handshake, or any plan to speak again; like it would have even been a possibil
