BOTW 2 Could Bring Back Ocarina Of Time s Scrapped Portals
The Twilight Realm of Twilight Princess is a parallel world to Hyrule, existing in a state of peace and serenity for most of its history. This shadowy realm is inhabited by Twili, the descendants of a group of sorcerers banished from Hyrule after they attempted to control the Sacred Realm with their magic. It’s said that this conflict sparked a civil war within Hyrule, but it’s unclear exactly who the Twili were before they were imprisoned in the Twilight Re
Since Breath of the Wild is said to take place at the very end of the Zelda timeline, it stands to reason that its sequel may reincorporate past plots, characters, and locations to resolve various aspects of the series narrative. Fans have been quick to note the references to games like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword already present in both BOTW and the three TOTK trailers released so far. As such, it’s possible that the fate set in motion by the events of TOTK’s predecessors may lead to a reappearance of Zelda Breath of the Wild Switch 2’s most important magical realms in the upcoming g
The Hyoi Pear's use and effect were simple. Link would place the pear on his head, and a seagull would swoop down and eat it. From there, the player would be able to control the seagull until it either took damage, or the player willingly gave up control. While the idea sunds about as silly as Wind Waker 's Link playing a theremin , it was quite useful, as the seagull could find treasures and even solve some puzzles. It was an odd item, but one that could have plenty of potential for a second appearance. After Breath of the Wild required Link to survive in post-calamity Hyrule, being able to recruit the local wildlife for help in Tears of the Kindgom could be a good next s
The implementation of crystal portals into Breath of the Wild 2 would be unexpected, but also creative and fun. Link could find them in previously unexplored sections of Hyrule Castle where they were originally intended to be over two decades ago, helping players see new locations and building on BOTW's lore. They could also be used to access the floating islands across Hyrule's sky. In E3's trailer, Link is seen floating and maneuvering through solid rock, indicating that he'll have some form of control over his movement between Hyrule's surface from Breath of the Wild and the new settlements above it. However, it's fun to think that these crystal portals could play a part in that discovery. Perhaps Link and Zelda catch wind of the crystals, leading them to Hyrule Castle where they may be encountering Calamity Ganon in the teaser trailer. Then, once Zelda falls into the darkness, Link continues his search for the portals to help rescue her. There's also potential that each floating landmass in the sky has its own crystal portal to teleport between each ot
Nintendo hasn't revealed much in the way of information regarding the sequel to **The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ** , but it is possible that the game could incorporate a scrapped feature from Ocarina of Time . The first animated teaser in 2019 showed Link and Zelda exploring some ruins where they seemingly encountered Calamity Ganon. However, no gameplay footage was shown until E3 2021 when Nintendo released a proper trailer for the game. This trailer shows Zelda falling into a pit of darkness before cutting to gameplay footage that showcases new features coming to the long-awaited seq
The Dark World is a realm of evil created by Ganon’s corruption of the Sacred Realm in The Legend of Zelda series. While the Sacred Realm itself may return in TOTK , it’s possible that the twisted Dark World may make an appearance, too. Ganon’s malice is shown to corrupt most of Hyrule in BOTW, making it possible for it to extend into the game’s iteration of the Sacred Realm as w
While the Sacred Realm is spoken of as a land of light, its divine power has sparked countless conflicts across Hyrule’s history. Civil wars and chaotic battles of good and evil have been waged over its sacred Triforce, and while Hyrule’s royal family has long stood as the protectors of the Sacred Realm, their efforts to protect the Triforce have often led to disaster for their kingdom. As Ganon’s malice invades Hyrule once more in Tears of the Kingdom , it seems that the fight for the Sacred Realm is far from o
Dinolfos are a very good classic Zelda game enemy to appear in BOTW 's sequel. They look cool and tough, and could make a great overworld enemy that Link would encounter in most all areas. Since they wield weapons, they can have equally cool ones unique to them like other enemies do, and the fire-breathing varieties mean that they can come in different elemental forms like Lizalfos. In addition, they drop Dinolfos Fangs and Dinolfos Arm Guards when defeated in Hyrule Warriors , so they already have some drops for Tears of the Kingdom to use. Since they're also a stronger counterpart of Lizalfos as Moblins are to Bokoblins, the best way to use them could be for them to help lead them and fight alongside them just like Moblins and Bokoblins
