Copyright & Content Reporting Policy

How to report alleged copyright infringement and our review procedures.

Last updated: February 15, 2026

Our Commitment

Psychpedia respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. All content on Psychpedia is independently developed for educational purposes (see our Academic Integrity notice). If you believe that any material on our platform infringes your copyright, we encourage you to notify us using the procedure below so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Reporting Alleged Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on Psychpedia infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent at the address below. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  • Identification of the infringing material: A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Service, with sufficient detail (e.g., URL or question ID) for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good-faith statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Review and Takedown Procedure

Upon receipt of a valid notice, Psychpedia will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of the notice within seven (7) business days.
  2. Review the claim in good faith. We will assess whether the reported material constitutes infringement, considering fair-use principles and the independent, educational nature of our content.
  3. Take appropriate action, which may include temporarily removing or disabling access to the disputed material while the review is in progress, or permanently removing the material if infringement is confirmed.
  4. Notify the reporter of the outcome of our review within thirty (30) days of acknowledgment, unless additional time is required, in which case we will communicate the expected timeline.

Counter-Notice Process

If you believe that material you posted on the Service was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our designated agent. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for any legal proceedings related to the dispute.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Psychpedia will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, unless the complainant initiates legal proceedings to restrain the alleged infringement.

Repeat Infringers

Psychpedia reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A "repeat infringer" is any user who has been the subject of more than one valid infringement notice.

Misrepresentation Warning

Please be aware that knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright infringement notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and legal fees incurred by any party injured by your misrepresentation.
