Refund Policy
How refunds, cancellations, and the 7-day satisfaction guarantee work on Psychpedia subscriptions.
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Summary
Psychpedia offers a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on the first paid subscription. Outside that window, paid subscriptions are non-refundable for partial billing periods, but you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. The full terms are below.
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of the initial charge by emailing contact@psychpedia.com. No reason is required. Once approved, the refund returns to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing depends on your bank or card issuer).
This guarantee applies to:
- The first paid subscription on a given account.
- Monthly and annual plans alike.
It does NOT apply to:
- Renewal charges (after the first paid period).
- Partial billing periods.
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service (including account sharing).
- Plan upgrades or downgrades within an active billing period.
Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel at any time from your Membership settings. Cancellation:
- Stops the next renewal charge.
- Keeps your premium access active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Does not trigger a refund for the current period (except under the 7-day guarantee above).
If you cancel and change your mind before the period ends, you can resume the same plan from the same settings page without losing your progress.
Renewal Charges
Paid plans renew automatically using the payment method on file at the then-current price. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date shown on your Membership settings.
Outside the 7-day satisfaction window, renewal charges are not refunded for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
Special Cases
Duplicate or accidental charges. If you see two charges for the same subscription period, contact us at contact@psychpedia.com with the transaction details. Verified duplicates are refunded in full regardless of the 7-day window.
Failed access. If a paid charge succeeded but your premium access did not activate (or was lost without your action), contact us — we will either restore access or refund in full.
Chargebacks. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may, after review, result in suspension of the account pending resolution.
Promotional credits and gift codes. Subscription time granted through credits, vouchers, referrals, or promotional codes is not eligible for cash refund.
Free trials.Free trial periods do not generate a charge, and therefore there is nothing to refund for the trial itself. If a trial converts to a paid subscription you didn't want, the 7-day guarantee above applies to the first paid charge.
How Refunds Are Processed
Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the charge. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account, or wallet.
Depending on which payment processor cleared your transaction, the refund is initiated through one of our PCI-DSS-certified providers:
- Moyasar — primary processor for transactions in Saudi Riyal (SAR), including mada, Visa, and Mastercard.
- Paymob — processor for select transactions across the MENA region.
- Paddle — Merchant of Record for international subscriptions billed in USD or other supported currencies.
Once we initiate the refund, the funds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days. Some banks take longer; if your refund has not appeared after 14 business days, contact contact@psychpedia.com with the original transaction reference and we will trace it.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at contact@psychpedia.com with the following:
- The email address on your account.
- The approximate date and amount of the charge.
- Optionally, the transaction reference from your bank statement or our receipt email.
- A short note on why you are requesting the refund (helps us improve).
We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued within 48 hours of approval.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Where local law mandates a longer refund window or different terms, those mandatory protections take precedence over the policy above.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes are announced on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Subscriptions purchased before a change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of the purchase.
